WEBART – ‘Web design without tears’
Over the weekend of the 19th June, Styleswebbin sent out a mail shot to promote our web design services in the local area of Angel and Farringdon. The mail shot took the form of a glossy postcard called ‘WEBART - Web design without tears’ and is part of a campaign to strike up relationships with local business owners and individuals who need a creative agency to work with.
Why WEBART?
WEBART is a play on the 1960/70’s Pop Art movement. Pop Art challenged tradition by asserting that an artist's use of the mass-produced visual commodities of popular culture is contiguous with the perspective of fine art. Now in 2010 popular culture has come to the forefront of today’s media and advertising, our postcard taps into the humour and illustration style of Pop Art and breaks down the message that websites are art and the experience of working with an agency can be very simple and without tears!
What brought this about?
In our first year of trading Styleswebbin have undertaken various web projects for local businesses based in
> It was great to find a local design agency
> They found us to be honest and knowledgeable about website design process and expectations
> They found our approach and flexibility refreshing in what can be a very competitive market
> They said knowledge at the end of a phone line or a short walk from the doorstep also plays a big factor
> They would definitely return for further business with Styleswebbin
Our latest marketing mail-shot postcard will run alongside an advert which will run in ‘The Angel’ magazine in June and July.
Please let us know your feedback! or even better if you received the postcard.
